APOSHO 40 invites researchers, practitioners and workplace leaders to share evidence, implementation experience and regional perspectives aligned with Revolutionising Workplace Protection.
Abstracts with clear practical value
Priority may be given to submissions that demonstrate relevance, transferable lessons, evidence-informed thinking and strong application to workplace protection.
- Clear workplace issue, challenge or opportunity
- Relevant method, intervention, programme or case study
- Useful findings, implementation experience or lessons learned
- Practical relevance to occupational safety and workplace health
One conference stream
APOSHO 40 is currently inviting abstracts under one main conference stream aligned with the overall theme Revolutionising Workplace Protection. There is no need to select multiple tracks or categories at this stage.
- Submit work aligned with the conference theme
- Focus on relevance, clarity and practical contribution
- Research, field application, case studies and implementation insights are all welcome
- Selected abstracts will be considered for oral presentation
From evidence to regional exchange
Selected presenters will contribute to a professional programme designed to connect research, practical application and meaningful discussion among occupational safety and health leaders from across Asia-Pacific.

Recognising outstanding papers
APOSHO 40 will recognise exceptional papers that demonstrate strong research quality, originality, practical relevance and contribution to the advancement of workplace protection.
Awarded to the strongest overall paper presented at APOSHO 40, based on technical quality, originality, relevance and practical contribution.
Awarded to the best paper presented by a full-time student currently enrolled at an institution of higher learning in Malaysia.
Awarded to the best paper presented by a full-time international student currently enrolled at an institution outside Malaysia.
Recognition for award recipients
Each winner will receive a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of their outstanding paper.
Each winner in the three award categories will also receive one free seat at the APOSHO 40 Gala Dinner.
Eligible papers will be assessed by a panel appointed by the APOSHO 40 Scientific Committee. Evaluation may consider originality, technical quality, relevance to the conference theme, practical application and presentation quality. The decision of the judging panel will be final.
